„Wer Bunker baut, wirft Bomben“ kommentiert Amos Vogel die „Topographie des Terrors“ auf dem Prinz-Albrecht-Gelände in Berlin. Vogel hatte das Gelände um das ehemalige NS-Reichssicherheitshauptamt im Winter 1987 besucht. Die Mauer, die die Stadt teilte, bestand noch und er notierte in die Übersetzung der Dokumentation von Reinhard Rürup: „Neben der Mauer, die mit Graffiti und Malereien übersät ist, beobachtet uns ein Wachposten.“ Es ist kalt und der gefrorene Boden schneebedeckt, Vogel bemerkt ein Schild mit dem Hinweis darauf, dass das Betreten auf eigene Gefahr erfolge und fragt sich ob sich diese Gefahr wohl darauf beziehe: „Unser Eis im Herzen?“

“He who builds bunkers, drops bombs” is Amos Vogel’s comment on the “Topography of Terror” at the Prince Albrecht compound in Berlin. Vogel had visited the area around the former Nazi Reich Security Main Office in the winter of 1987. The wall that divided the city still existed, and he noted in the translation of Reinhard Rürup’s documentation, “Next to wall, fully covered with graffiti and painting, a watchtower guard observes us.” It is cold and the frozen ground is snow-covered, Vogel notices a sign stating that entering is at your own risk and wonders if this danger refers to: “Our Ice in the heart?”
